Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Maintenance and Project Support Associate to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, as well as providing project support to various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work efficiently on both maintenance and project-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts replacements.
Work with external vendors or contractors for specialized maintenance or equipment service when necessary.
Monitor equipment performance to proactively identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
Project Support:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within the organization.
Provide technical and logistical support to project teams, ensuring that equipment is available and in proper working order for project activities.
Help with the procurement and installation of new equipment and machinery for projects.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timelines and goals are met.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all equipment maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.
Report any safety hazards or compliance issues related to equipment or project operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
Technical Support and Training:
Provide technical advice and guidance to team members regarding equipment use and maintenance.
Conduct training sessions for staff on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques for equipment.
Stay current on new equipment and maintenance technologies, recommending upgrades or new tools as necessary.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with project coordination or support is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance.
Working Conditions:
This role may require occasional travel to different job sites.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoors or in industrial settings.
Flexibility to work extended hours or on weekends as required to support project needs.

Pay: $31,819.87 - $40,363.71 per year
