Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Maintenance and Project Support Associate to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment, as well as providing project support to various teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work efficiently on both maintenance and project-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance:

  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts replacements.

  • Work with external vendors or contractors for specialized maintenance or equipment service when necessary.

  • Monitor equipment performance to proactively identify potential issues and recommend improvements.

  • Project Support:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within the organization.

  • Provide technical and logistical support to project teams, ensuring that equipment is available and in proper working order for project activities.

  • Help with the procurement and installation of new equipment and machinery for projects.

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timelines and goals are met.

  • Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all equipment maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.

  • Report any safety hazards or compliance issues related to equipment or project operations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols.

  • Technical Support and Training:

  • Provide technical advice and guidance to team members regarding equipment use and maintenance.

  • Conduct training sessions for staff on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques for equipment.

  • Stay current on new equipment and maintenance technologies, recommending upgrades or new tools as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

  • Experience with project coordination or support is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance.

Working Conditions:

  • This role may require occasional travel to different job sites.

  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoors or in industrial settings.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours or on weekends as required to support project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,819.87 - $40,363.71 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Day shift

  • Weekends as needed
